William J. Kane "Bill"

Bill Kane of Philadelphia, PA passed peacefully, with his family by his side on September 3, 2021 at the age of 78.

Loving companion of Melba Cherico (nee Rodriquez) of Haddon Township, NJ, former husband of Mary Kane (nee Nowakowski). Beloved father of Rebecca Studdy (John) of Ardmore, PA, Samantha Kane (Peter Weinlein) of Franklin, TN, and Melba’s children, Amanda Tagmire (Fran), Laura Popovich (Nick) and Sara Hsii (Jeff). Dear brother of Mary Taylor (Michael), Michael Kane (Paula), Joan Kane, Patricia Holshouser (Jesse) and Tim Kane (Caro).  Proud grandfather of Jack, Ella, Luke, Kate, Madison, Noah, Anna, Jack, Charlie, Jay and Aria.  Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Woodbury High School class of 1960.  He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the 101 ^st & 82 ^nd Airborne Division.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Saturday Sept. 11 ^th , 2021, 10:30 AM at ST. DENIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA 19083.

Interment will be private.
