William J. Harper, Jr.

Bill went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2024, at age 82, of Haddon Township, NJ, formerly of Woodlynne, NJ.

Beloved Husband of 34 years to Jean D. Harper (nee Madjeska). Dear father of Kathy Hoffman (Keith), Dana Harper, Butch Burak (Nicole), Scott Harper, Dawn Piscopio (Kyle Stephens) and the late Todd Harper.  Proud "Grampy" to Danny Piscopio, Nola Piscopio, Grace Piscopio, Olivia Burak & Avery Burak.

Bill graduated from Collingswood High School, Class of 1959 where he played baseball and was a wrestler. He was recently inducted into the Collingswood Hall of Fame for both sports.

In his early years, Bill was a record promoter and very passionate and proud of his success in the industry. In his later years, he and his wife, Jean owned Quality Thrift Store in Gloucester City for many years.

Bill loved Camping in Cape May and selling his "junk" at Antique Shows. He will forever be in our hearts and always referred to as "Grampy" or "Screamer".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing, Tuesday, Feb. 20th from 10:15 – 11:15 AM at Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033, followed by his funeral service at 11:30 AM.

Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
