William P. Ginter "Bill"

Bill passed away surrounded by his loving family, on March 16, 2020, at the age of 82, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved husband of the late Janet E. Ginter (nee Shuts).  Loving father of Dawn Whitman (Jim) of Haddon Twp., NJ, Paul E. Ginter (Lisa) of St. Augustine, FL and Robin Brooks (Bob) of Haddon Twp., NJ.  Proud grandfather of Ryan (Jessica) Whitman, Matt (Katie) Whitman, Sarah & Rachel Ginter and Jenn & Sean Brooks.

Bill was an avid and skilled golfer, spending many days on the links with lifelong friends.  He had an excellent sense of humor, and enjoyed playing pranks and practical jokes on his wife, Janet.  It wasn’t unusual to find him hiding in a tree, or jumping out of a closet.  The louder Janet screamed, the more joy he got.  Bill and Janet spent many vacations with his sister, Doris and her husband John.  He also spent several summers in Ocean City, NJ with his children and grandchildren.  He rarely missed the opportunity to watch his grandchildren participate in sports or activities.  When Dawn and Robin turned 16, he began taking them on annual birthday dinner dates, a tradition he continued until he was no longer able.   He taught Paul to play golf, something they enjoyed doing together whenever possible.

Funeral services will be private.
