William P. Fox

Bill passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 79, of Haddon Twp., NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Beloved husband of 49 years to Dolores F. (neé Black).  Loving father of Jacqueline L. Fox and William R. Fox both of Westmont, NJ. Dear brother of Joseph M. “Pat” Fox (Patti) of Sewell, NJ and the late John A. Fox and Robert J. Fox. Brother-in-law of Bonnie Fox & Karen Fox.

Bill attended West Catholic High School where he graduated in 1962, and attended LaSalle University, where he graduated in 1966. Upon Graduating from LaSalle University, he was drafted in to the US Army. He served as a Combat Engineer in Vietnam in the Army Corps of Engineers where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant. After leaving the army, he worked as an accountant in between Public Practice and Private Companies before spending the last almost two decades working for the Camden County Probation Department.  He was a longtime member of the Westmont Lions Club, where he served as Treasurer for many years.  In his free time, Bill enjoyed gardening, fishing, and trips to the casino with his wife.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, Feb. 3rd from 11 – 11:30 AM, for a prayer service 11:30 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ.  Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 171 Jersey St., Building #5, 2nd Floor, Trenton, NJ 08611.
