Vincent D. Jordan, Sr.

Vince (Papa J, Poppop, Pop, No. 1), of Haddon Township, NJ, formerly of Ridley Twp., PA., passed peacefully on March 26, 2025. Loving husband for 60 years of Kathleen Jordan (nee Crissey). Beloved father of Vincent D. Jordan, Jr. (Karen) of Bear, DE and Maureen Hayes (Brian) of Newtown, PA. Dear son of the late Joseph P. Jordan, Sr. and Veronica (nee Breeser).  Brother of the late Vera Campbell, Ann Jordan, Patricia Field, Joseph P. Jordan, Jr. and James Jordan.  Proud grandfather of Jordan & Samuel Hayes and Liam & James Jordan.  Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Vince proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Marine Corps League 1776 and VFW 9563 Bellmawr. Vince served as a Lector & Cantor at St. Alloysius Church in Oaklyn and was a Little League coach for many years. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports and Penn State Fan.

Vince was a freight salesman for Consolidated Freightways for many years and after retiring, was a bar tender at several locations in South Jersey, including the VFW.

Vince loved his family dearly, and made sure never to miss any athletic or theatrical performance of his kids, grandkids, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Visitation, Thursday April 3rd from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ and on Friday, April 4th from 9:45 to 10:45 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ 08033, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Vince’s memory may be made to the Veteran’s Memorial Home, 524 North West Blvd., Vineland, NJ 08360.
