Thomas "Tom" R. Rapa

Thomas passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, of Collingswood, NJ, at the age of 77.  Beloved husband of 52 years to Margaret Rapa (nee Campbell).  Loving father of Lauren Rapa Guzzo (Louis) of Marlton, NJ, Patrick Rapa of Philadelphia, PA, and Michael Rapa (Christina) of Philadelphia, PA.  Dear brother of Maryann Rapa of West Deptford and the late Joseph Rapa (Robert Jones).  Son of the late Joseph and Margaret Rapa.  Proud pop-pop of Ava Guzzo, Julia Guzzo, and Luca Rapa.

Thomas was a teacher in the Pennsauken School District for over 30 years.  He was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School 1964, Glassboro State College (Rowan University), and Trenton State College (TCNJ).  He was an umpire and coached soccer and little league in Collingswood.  Thomas was a recreational golfer and a fan of all Philly sports teams.  Thomas loved being in Ocean City each summer with his family.  He had many interests and causes but his number one priority was always his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation, Friday Eve., Oct. 6th from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ and on Saturday, Oct. 7th from 10 to 10:45 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, ST. JOHN'S CHURCH, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ, where his funeral mass will begin at 11 AM.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas' memory may be made to Camden Catholic High School, 300 Cuthbert Blvd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 or https://www.camdencatholic.org/o/cchs/page/give
