(nee DeBenedictis) Theresa Mary Wolfe, 72, of Wall, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, with her daughters by her side.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, Theresa was raised in Manasquan and was a longtime resident of Wall. She graduated from Wall High School in 1971, where she earned both her diploma and a certificate in cosmetology. She was employed by Hinck Turkey Farm in Wall Township for 51 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Amelia Wright and her husband Michael of Long Valley, NJ, and Theresa E. Wolfe of Bordentown, NJ; her grandchildren, Samarra Pirrong, Benjamin Pirrong, Marilyn Ebert, and Lillian Wright; her lifelong friends, Cheryl Bylsma and Cynthia Burnfield; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, David “Butch” Wolfe; her parents, George and Anna DeBenedictis; her son-in-law, Joseph Crowe; her brothers, Anthony, George, and John DeBenedictis; and her sisters, Georgiana DeBenedictis, Anna Sutphen, and Martha McBride.
In accordance with her wishes, all services will be private. Family and friends are encouraged to remember Theresa in their own way. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Breakthrough T1D or the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
