Teresa V. Jones "Ginny"

(nee Kelly) Teresa Virginia Jones of Westmont and Oaklyn, NJ. Born in Camden in 1927, “Ginny” was married to the late Herbert H. Jones for more than 63 years. Passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

She is the beloved mother of Stephen M. Jones (Karin) of Brigantine and Diane Jones of White Haven, PA. Ginny is also survived by five loving grandchildren – Katie Marrocco (Christopher), Kelly Weyl (Nathan), Daniel Jones (Rebecca), Michael Barteld (Samantha) and Alexander Jackson. She was blessed with five beautiful great grandchildren - Jacob, Simone, Walter, Evelyn and Michael “MJ”. Ginny was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Kelly of Westmont and was also predeceased by her brother, John “Jack” Kelly (the late Rosemary).

She was a long-time parishioner of Holy Saviour Church in Westmont and was also active in the Holy Saviour School PTA. A graduate of Camden Catholic High School Class of 1945. Ginny worked as an executive secretary for the Internal Revenue Service in Camden, as a stay-at-home mom, and in Sales at the JC Penney Fine Jewelry Department in Audubon, NJ.  She also helped Herb build his refrigeration service company and wore many hats for many years, including bookkeeper, appointment setter, and customer service contact. Ginny and Herb loved their vacation homes in Sea Isle City, Mystic Islands and Brigantine, domestic and international travel, and spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation, Thursday, June 8th from 10 to 11 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ, where her Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM.

Interment will be private.
