Shannon J. Becknell

Shannon passed suddenly, on March 1, 2021, age 36, of Haddon Township, NJ, formerly of Oaklyn, NJ.

Beloved daughter of her mother Dawn C. Deen (Dan) of Oaklyn, NJ and her father Mark Becknell of Haddon Township, NJ. Loving companion of James Stevenson of Haddon Township, NJ.

Shannon graduated from Camden Catholic High School, was an undergrad at Temple University and received her Master’s in Strategic Communications at Rowan College.  She was an avid reader and loved to write. Shannon’s passion recently was rescuing cats.  She was known for her outgoing and silly personality.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday, March 6 ^th from 10 to 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, her Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Shannon’s memory may be made to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 421 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
