Robert A. Walter

On October 4, 2017, Age 93, of Westmont, NJ.

Beloved husband of the late of Marianne B. Walter.  Loving father of Carol Scattergood (Tim) of Westmont, NJ, Robert J.  Walter (Mary) of Fort Washington, PA, John C. Walter (Bonnie) of Haddonfield, NJ and Barbara A. Brown (Dan) of Cherry Hill, NJ.  Brother-in-law of the late Margaret Hopkins.  Dear grandfather of Kelsey & Tim Scattergood, Sara & Catherine Walter, John, Alex & Jake Walter, and Shelby, Shannon, Hannah & Jenna Brown.

Bob was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII.  He owned Robert A. Walter Construction Co., was a lifelong resident of Westmont and member of the Westmont UM Church.  Bob was a great youth baseball coach and a Westmont Tigers youth football coach.  He was an avid fisherman and later in life enjoyed golf, numerous carpentry projects, and spending countless hours with his grandchildren.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, where his funeral service will follow at 5 PM.

Interment will be private.
