Richard D. Haas

Sadly on Monday, January 25, 2021 Richard passed away with his family by his side, of Voorhees, NJ.

Richard grew up in Oaklyn and was a long time resident of Westmont. He was the son of the late Richard C. Haas and Jane (nee Dougherty). Father of Richard S. Haas (Megan), Christopher Haas (Lisa Lenahan), Denise Quinto (Christopher) and Lisa D'Alessandro (Gary). Grandfather of Richard Haas, Michael Haas (Holly), Christie Harris (Daniel), Brittani Haas, Jessica Clark (Steven), Joseph D'Alessandro, Ava Haas, Abigail Haas, Chase Haas, Catelyn Haas and Olivia Haas. Great grandfather of Delaney, Michele, Carson, Christopher and Aubrey. Predeceased by his brother Joseph Haas and daughter Michele Haas.

Richard graduated from Camden Catholic Class of 1955, then served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and Reserves, then graduated from Philadelphia College of Art.  He owned Richard Designs from the early 1970's until he retired in 2010. He was an accomplished artist and respected interior designer. Richard loved to travel for many years spending time hiking mountains and going to Maui, Cancun, St. Thomas and any other island he could get to. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be private.
