Paul C. Withers, Jr.

Paul passed away, on April 1, 2023, at the age of 84, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved husband of the late Constance (Sandra) Withers (nee MacKerell). Predeceased by his son, Paul C. Withers III, and his sister, Frances Withers Jackson.

Paul started his career as a science teacher at Triton and Highland Regional High Schools. He met Sandra when they were school teachers. Paul and Sandra then went on to open a machine shop specializing in machine work on high-performance street and strip cars and racing boat engines. Paul was a Legacy member of the Union League of Philadelphia. Paul and Sandra were founding members of the Union League “Dance Club.”  After their retirement from the engine business, they continued ballroom dancing. Paul was an avid gardener, and his talents were displayed in his stunning garden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation, Sunday, Oct. 15th from 2 to 3 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, where his memorial service will begin at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ  08012.
