Paul Holonia

On the evening of December 8th 2017, Paul (born July 19th 1944 in Pittston, PA) passed peacefully in Cooper Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones after losing his battle with COPD. He is predeceased by his son, Christopher Paul Holonia and his parents and siblings.

He is survived by his wife Linda (nee Knecht), children Rachel Graham (husband John); Jason; Rebekah; and Sharon (wife Ashley), and grandchildren Samantha, Abigail, Zachary, Elijah, Paul Michael, Anastasia, Jaylen.
He grew up in Lake Lehman, PA and graduated from Lake Lehman High School in 1963. While in high school, he attended Wyoming Valley Technical Institute where he graduated with a diploma in Machine Drafting. Following his graduation, he relocated to New Jersey and joined the New Jersey Army National Guard where he served for 6 years.

Paul was a long time owner-operator for Allied Van Lines where he was an OTR truck driver. During this time, he travelled the 48 contiguous States. He later worked as a truck driver/warehouseman for Quadra-Graphics in Pennsauken, NJ.

His greatest joy in life was being a husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a handyman and loved tinkering and building things. He was always known to lend a helping hand where needed. He liked doing puzzles and watching his tv shows, and watching his favorite sports teams the Phillies and the Eagles.

A memorial service will be held on Wed., Dec. 13th at 7 pm with a gathering from 6:30-7 pm at AUDUBON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 314 W. Graisbury Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in his memory to the Audubon UMC or Wounded Warriors Project, 370 7 ^th Ave., New York, NY  10001.

Interment will be private.
