Paul J. Duffy

Paul J. Duffy of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 8, 2018, at the age of 66.

Paul was the beloved husband of Mary E. Duffy (nee Schmidt), who were together for 27 years. Preceded in death by Paul’s parents, Florence (nee Moore) and John Duffy. Loving brother of Thomas (Kathy), Denise (Jim), Jimmy, and the late John, Sissy, and Joey  . Brother-in-law of Patty Duffy, Betty Bandura (John), Kay Stark (Suranto), Raemarie Schmidt, and the late Howard Schmidt. Paul is also survived by his daughter Danielle Kulik , mother-in-law's Edith Curtis and Gloria Schmidt, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Paul and Mary were blessed with wonderful family and friends who helped them throughout Paul’s illness and at their times of need. Paul served for 4 years in the US Navy. He enjoyed being on a bowling league and playing golf. Paul was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching his favorite teams—the Phillies, Dolphins, and Flyers. He loved to travel to Las Vegas and enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Paul also enjoyed hosting summer barbeques and spending holidays with his family and friends. He had a special love for his cats. At first, he was a dog lover, but because of Mary’s love of cats, Paul came to love their rescues—Duffy, Kupkake, Kiwi, Kayla, and Jake. Paul enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially at special celebrations of weddings, birthdays, christenings, graduations, and other special occasions.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 10 – 12 noon at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life.
