Patricia "Pat" J. Grady

(nee Falvey) Pat passed peacefully with her family by her side on October 13, 2024, at the age of 97, of Collingswood, NJ.

Beloved wife of 67 years to the late Joseph W. Grady. Loving mother of Jane A. Whalen (Donald), Joseph W. Grady Jr. (Maria), Gail M. Gooley (Mark Cleighton), Karen J. Wells (David), Patricia A. Hak (George), Gerald M. Grady (Margie), Daniel T. Grady (Deborah) and Kevin Grady (Wendy).  Adoring grandmother of 20.  Beloved great grandmother of 43 (soon to be 44).

Pat enjoyed an active and full life. She was a lifeguard at Audubon pool, played drums in the high school band and after graduation she studied at Purdue University and became a draftsman for RCA after WWII and later for Stone and Webster. She loved technology.  Pat and Joe raised 8 children in Barrington, later moving to Collingswood, and then retired to Florida for 20 years, where she enjoyed golfing, square dancing, bowling, but most importantly making new friends.  Most recently she was a resident of UMC-Collingswood where she was an active participant in all of the activities and outings.  She went out of her way to help new residents feel welcomed. She was a people person, with a twinkle in her eye, and she will be forever known for the swoop of blue color in her hair.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday, Oct. 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, and visitation Thursday, Oct. 24th from 10 to 11:15 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ.

Eulogy will begin at 11:15 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
