Pasquale J. Fietto "Pat"

Pat passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on August 2, 2019, at the age of 91, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved husband of the late Virginia “Ginnie” (nee Dunlevy). Loving father of Patrice Fietto and Kim Gaston (Ron). Dear brother of Carmella “Dolly” Stangline and the late Julia Sincavage and Anthony Fietto. Adoring grandfather of Kimberly Longo, Christopher P. Gaston and Brittany Leigh Gaston.  Great grandfather of John Cella and Chase Longo.  Also survived by nieces & nephews.

Pat was industrious at an early age, when he started his first business shining shoes in South Philly. At the age of 15 he, along with his family moved to South Jersey and purchased Rexy’s Bar & Restaurant, where they successfully operated the business for over 66 years. Rexy’s was famous as  the home of the Stanley Cup Flyers and the World’s greatest sausage pizza!  That was also the age he met his Ginnie, the love of his life at a high school dance, and went on to enjoy 68 years of marriage. Pat proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a longtime member of Tavistock Country Club, and an avid fisherman in Marco Island, FL.  He was a man who lived his life with character, dignity and loyalty to all those who loved him, “never kick a man when he’s down”.  He will be dearly missed, but held in our hearts forever.

Family & Friends are invited to attend his Visitation Tuesday, August 6 ^th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish ST. JOHN’S CHURCH, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Pat’s memory may be made to a Veterans Organization of the donor’s choice.
