Nancy Ann Geonie

(nee Carnivale) Nancy, of Westmont, NJ and formerly of Plainview, NY passed away peacefully at the age of 89, on March 5, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Carmine Geonie. Loving mother of Angelo Geonie (Kerry) of Huntington Long Island, NY, David Geonie and Judy Geonie both of Westmont, NJ. Dear sister of Lillian Grunseich (Frank) of Las Vegas, NV and the late Mildred Faiella. Proud grandmother of Megan, Devin, Cailen, Nicholas and Jenna. Adoring great-grandmother of Logan, Leo and Lillie. Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family as well as traveling to the casinos. She was devoted to her faith and founded a rosary group at her former residence at Rohrer Tower in Westmont. She reminisced often about her past travels with her husband, her sisters and her friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday, March 9 from 10 to 10:45 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave. Haddon Township, NJ, where her funeral mass will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN  38105.
