Michael P. Ryan

Michael Patrick Ryan peacefully passed on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with a very aggressive cancer. He was 58.

Born in Camden, Michael, known to most as “Chooch” was a long time resident of Maple Shade before moving to Mickleton in 2019. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Sysco Foods in Philadelphia.

In his spare time Michael loved NASCAR racing, long rides on his Harley, Cars, watching the EAGLES, dogs and spending time with family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Ryan. He is survived by his father Michael and Cathleen Ryan, His sister Donna and her husband Scott Peggs, Step sisters Mary Hughes and Maureen Hughes (Rich), his Nephew Scott Peggs (Claire) and nieces Brittany Matthey (Raymond), Shannon Delany, Megan Delany, John Wagner and Bella Wagner. Proud great uncle of Vivian, Lucie, Weston and Jolie.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Michael at Filomena's Lakeview Restaurant, 1738 Cooper Street, Deptford, NJ, on Friday, March 4th at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Association.
