Michael Romano, age 75, of Woodlynne, NJ, passed away May 30, 2026.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Mimi Mannel-Petruncio. Beloved dad to Mika, Luke and Mia (Billy). Much loved brother to Michelle, Frank (Dana), Renee (Dan), Adrienne (Anthony), Annette (Ron) and Mark (Jeanne). Dearest grandad to Evie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michael was driven by his gifts, living a life in the arts and of service. He leaves behind a breathtaking body of paintings, drawings, sketches, and musical compositions in the modes of blues and fingerstyle guitar. His life brought him from his hometown of Camden, NJ to the glittering waves of Wildwood, the revolutionary streets of Minneapolis, raising a family in Westmont, and down to the soft summer mornings light on a Ventnor salt marsh. He was born in the mountains of Jersey Shore, PA, and left this world on the ocean winds of the Jersey Shore in NJ. Michael was a longtime member of Newton Friends Meeting in Camden, NJ, where he worked with others to feed people on the streets.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, June 13th from 9:30 to 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, where his memorial service will follow.
