Michael E. Reed

Mike passed away with his family by his side on January 26, 2021, at the age of 79.

Loving husband of Dianne J. (nee Smith).  Beloved father of Bryan Reed (Joya) of Haddonfield, NJ and Kristy Reed of Haddonfield, NJ. Dear brother of Elaine Johnson (Ron) of Rochester, NY.  Brother-in-law of Evelyn Diehl (Dave).  Son-in-law of Anna Smith of Blackwood, NJ. Proud grandfather of Kellan, Dexter and Tilly.  Also survived by his nephews & niece, Chris Johnson (Lena), Matt Johnson, Shelly Levin (Michael) and Chris Diehl.

Mike served in the US Army Reserves.  He was an Accountant and worked for Campbell Soup Company for 33 years, his last few as the Vice President/Controller of Sales. He then served as CFO at OPEX Corporation, before finally retiring. Mike was a devoted volunteer serving on the board of Kings Christian School in Cherry Hill and was one of the founders of Joy Community Fellowship in Haddon Heights, where he held many positions. He loved to golf and spend time with his family.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow the Covid-19 guidelines.

His Celebration of Life and interment will be private for the family.
