Michael Glinos

Michael passed away on November 9, 2019, of Haddon Township, NJ, at the age of 85.  Beloved husband of Irini (nee Goniou).  Devoted father of Nickolaos Glinos (Donna), Efrosini Glinos Coyle and Irene Tutkun (Sadi). Loving grandfather of Christina & Michael Glinos, Zachary Coyle, Michael & Sema Tutkun.

Michael was born in Andros, Greece. He served in the Merchant Marines for 10 years.  He came to the US in 1972 to help his late brother Jimmy at the Oaklyn Diner.  Michael then worked for 18 years at Ponzio’s Diner in Cherry Hill before retiring.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his harvest with the neighborhood.  Michael loved spending time with his family and will always be remembered for his big smile.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, November 14 ^th from 7 to 9 PM and on Friday, November 15 ^th from 11 to 11:45 AM at St. THOMAS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 615 Mercer St., Cherry Hill, NJ, funeral services will follow at 12 PM.

Interment Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
