Michael P. Brennan, Sr. "Big Jim"

Michael P. Brennan Sr. of Manahawkin, NJ, formerly of Westmont, NJ, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Maureen Brennan.  Loving father of Michael P. Brennan, Jr. of Hyannis, MA, James Brennan of Manahawkin, NJ and the late Patricia Ann Brennan.  Proud grandfather of Deona O’Connell, Junean Engelsen, Philip O. Brennan, and Nichole Dauphinee.  Great-grandfather of Declan A. O’Connell, Gabriel D. Engelsen, and Samuel P. Engelsen.

Jim loved working as a sheet metal fabricator, as well as working on many major construction projects. He was a natural engineer in all departments from cars and mechanics to plumbing and electric. He also enjoyed hunting, boating, and loved looking from his dock at the Bay and Manahawkin Draw Bridge, aka causeway.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing, Thursday, April 27th from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Holy Saviour Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM.

Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
