Mary A. Rossi

(nee Infanti) Mary passed away on December 8, 2022, of Bellmawr, NJ, at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Gaetano A. Rossi known to everyone as Gus. Loving mother of John Infanti (Carmela), Guy Rossi (Maria), Carolyn Rossi Aubrey, (Richard) and Conchetta M. DiChristofer. Dear sister of her late siblings John “Barney” Infanti, Rita Mary Pepe, Anthony Infanti, Joe Infanti, Theresa Mattera, Francis Infanti, Rose Judge, Sheila Wadlinger.  Proud grandmother of Julie Simmons, Jennifer Peterson, Elise M. Esposito, John Infanti, Jr, Zachary Aubrey and Eric Aubrey. Great grandmother of Ella Simmons, Maggie Peterson, Will Simmons, Jack Peterson.  Also survived by her dear friend Eleanor Casimir.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and neighbors as she was lovingly known as “Nanny”.  Mary was a proud graduate of West Catholic Girls in Philadelphia, PA and studied at Glassboro State College AKA Rowan University. She started her early years at Bell Telephone, then spent over 20 years working in the automotive industry as Office Manager under Accounting Functions & Tax Preparation, in which she took much pride.  A career change had her in charge of Medical Records for a Nursing Facility before retiring. Her real passion though was working in the Bellmawr School System with the students as a lunch room aide in her retirement years, as she adored children. She was lovingly known as "Miss Mary" by all the children.

She was an avid reader and shared a book exchange among friends. Mary loved the Hallmark Channel and the TV Show "Everybody Loves Raymond" in re-runs.  She lived off of French Vanilla Cappuccino from Wawa & smiled with glee if you brought it for her!! She was known as a small diva with her hair and nails even making appointments while in physical rehab. Mary never missed the Birthday of anyone as she was known for her kind, caring and giving heart. She will be remembered as a strong, never fearing woman from the greatest generation that was ahead of her time!!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John’s Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ, followed by her funeral mass at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John’s Church.
