Mary K. Mcfarland

(nee Gorman) Mary passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. “Frank” McFarland. Loving mother of Pat McFarland of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Miles (Paul) of Audubon, NJ, Nancy McFarland (Tom Schmidt) of Collingswood, NJ, Jim McFarland (Kelly) of Collingswood, NJ. She is the proud grandmother of Michael (Nadine), John (Christine), Timothy (Abra), Jennifer (Evan), Andrew, Daniel, Liam and Matthew. Adoring Great grandmother of Owen, Emma, Audrey, Pearl, Remy, George and Feivel. Also survived by her nephew Kevin Carducci. Preceded in death by her parents Walter & Theresa Gorman and her sister Terry Carducci and her husband Frank.

Mary was a longtime resident of Cherry Hill, NJ and was very involved in the community.  She was a founding member of St. Peter Celestine Parish, and in involved with the League of Women Voters along with several other local organizations over the years. Mary was an artist who studied at the Fleisher Art Memorial and the Philadelphia College of Art, working mainly with painting and stained glass. While working at RCA in Camden Mary met her husband Frank McFarland and created a wonderful family extending to her great grandchildren today.

Close friends & family are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, June 22nd from 10 to 11 AM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, where her service will begin at 11 AM.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
