Mary L. Griffeth

(nee Loper) Mary passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021, at the age of 96, of Haddonfield, NJ.

Beloved wife of the late Parker G. Griffeth.  Loving mother of Patti Scharff (Jim) of Collingswood, NJ, David Griffeth (Maureen) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Alan Griffeth (Joyce) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ.  Dear sister of the late George Loper and Ida Harter. Proud grandmother of Vanessa, Stephen (Andrea), Katie, Suzanne (Kevin), Sam and the late Bryan.  Great grandmother of Caelan, Hailey, Aria, Parker & James.

Mary worked as a secretary for Rudolf Serkin of Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia for over 10 years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and a lifelong Flyers & Phillies fan. She and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the world and made scrapbooks of all the places they had been; their most favorite being Normandy Beach, HI.  Mary had many treasured memories of their family beach house in Avalon.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Camden County Hero Scholarship 200 Club, 162 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
