Mario Albertini, Sr.

Mario passed away peacefully on March 5, 2022, at the age of 80, of Westmont, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia and Ascoli Piceno, Italy.

Son of the late Antonio & Speranza Albertini (nee Capriotti). Beloved husband of Elvira (nee Guerriero). Loving father of Robert A. Albertini (Nilda Yvette) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Mario Albertini, Jr. (Michelle) of Westmont, NJ.  Dear brother of Anna Cattai (the late Dino) of South Philadelphia and the late Domenico Albertini. Proud grandfather of Mario Albertini, III, Marlaina Albertini, Dimitria Albertini, Natalia Albertini and Marco Albertini. Also survived by his sister-in-laws Anna Mazzone, Giovanna Monaco and several nieces & nephews.

Mario enjoyed playing cards, watching Italian Soccer and traveling through Europe. He loved all the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles. Mario could “cut a rug” on the dance floor, joining in all the line dances. He was a family man, most proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Also known as “The town Mayor” Mario was loved by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, March 9 ^th from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish HOLY SAVIOUR CHURCH, 50 Emerald Avenue, Westmont, NJ on Thursday, March 10th, 11 AM, with a Eulogy beginning at 10:45 AM.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
