Mabel "Mamie Lou" L. Nungesser

(neé Smallwood) “Mamie Lou” passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the age of 88, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved wife of 63 years to John A. Nungesser.  Loving mother of James "Jay" Nungesser (Deborah), Mary Simmons (Robert) and Jill Quiles (Ed). Dear sister-in-law of Susan Buck. Proud grandmother of Derek Nungesser, John Simmons, Vera & Natalia Simmons, Cade Nungesser and Abigail & Sophia Quiles.  Also survived by several nieces.

Mamie Lou lived as a homemaker and later worked as an Administrative Assistant for Haddon Township School District.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation, Thurs., Nov. 2nd from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ. Funeral Service will be celebrated, Fri. Nov. 3rd 10:30 AM at Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ.

Interment will be private.
