Kathy A. Thompson

(nee Kohler)

Kathy, a resident of Collingswood, New Jersey, formerly of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 76. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Helen Kohler. Beloved wife of the late John C. Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her dear sister, Leora Savage, her nephews, John Pringle (Debbie), Jay Pringle (Sue), Jess Pringle (Laura), James Pringle (Aida) and two great nephews Bobby and Matt Pringle. 

Kathy was a 1967 graduate of North High School in Torrance, California. She attended El Camino College and left to pursue a career as a legal secretary. Kathy worked as a legal secretary for twenty-three years with the law firm of Forkin, McShane, Manos and Rotz until her retirement in 2024. Kathy loved horses and dogs and particularly enjoyed training and showing Australian Cattle Dogs. She enjoyed needlepoint. She was an avid collector. Kathy was proud of her collection of NASA memorabilia which was shared by her cherished friend, the late Alan Blask. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation, Tuesday, November 4th from 10 – 11 AM at Haddonfield United Methodist Church (Chapel), 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ, where funeral services will begin at 11 AM. 

Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy’s memory may be made to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
