Karen passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on July 14, 2026, at the age of 71, of Collingswood, NJ. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories marked by service, adventure, loyalty, and an unmistakable sense of humor.

Karen is survived by her loving spouse June M Stambaugh; her sisters, Mary Torrisi, and Dalise Blanton (Lindsay Jr.); her brother, Konrad Langenheim; aunt to Lindsay Blanton III (Karen), Andrew Blanton (Kristen), and Nicholas Blanton (Nancy), Kristina LaRue, Monika Perry; Great aunt to Sarah and Lindsay Blanton IV, Amelie Blanton, Kayleigh and Shaina, Melanie and Matthew Perry. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Leah Louella Laub Langenheim; her brothers, Tim and George Langenheim.

Karen proudly served in the United States Navy for five years. While stationed on Guam, she embraced the island's rich culture and took every opportunity to travel during her leave, beginning a lifelong love of exploring new places and experiences.

Following her military service, Karen built a successful career in the telecommunications industry, working for several telephone companies before retiring from Verizon. She was dedicated to her work and valued the friendships she made throughout her career.

A devoted sports fan, Karen could always be counted on to cheer enthusiastically for the Reading Phillies, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Whether watching a game with family or celebrating a big win, her passion for her hometown teams was contagious.

Karen's adventurous spirit extended well beyond sports. She treasured traveling with her family, creating lasting memories on trips to Alaska and throughout Europe. She also loved relaxing at casinos, where she enjoyed trying her luck on the slot machines before spending time unwinding by the pool.

At home, Karen found great comfort and companionship in her beloved cats, Penney and Pippy, who brought her endless joy and unconditional love.

Karen will be remembered for her strength, determination, and thoughtfulness. Beneath her strong will was a playful, lighthearted spirit that brought smiles to those around her. Her quick wit, warm heart, and ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she is no longer with us, the love she shared, the adventures she embraced, and the laughter she inspired will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind forever.
