Joyce Acker

Joyce passed on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 83, of Voorhees, NJ.

Beloved mother of Denise Foedinger (Richard) of Phoenixville, PA, Michael Acker (Alicia) of Westmont, NJ and Lisa Acker of Hull, MA. Dear sister of Linda Fritzsche of Branford, CT and Dianne Schmitz of Haddon Heights, NJ. Proud grandmother of Kevin Foedinger  and Kelly Stover. Great grandmother of Morgan Stover. Loving aunt of Jennifer & Brad Fritzsche and Taylor O’Neill.

Joyce grew up in Haddon Heights. She had a long career as an executive secretary. She loved taking trips to the beach, listening to music, watching classic movies, getting dressed up, antiquing and baking for her family. She had a passion for all animals. Her quiet and gentle nature made her perfect for giving them the best possible life in her home. Joyce loved reminiscing with her two beautiful sisters and having the best time laughing and giggling about it all. Her greatest joys were being an aunt and a grandmom.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, November 1st from 10 – 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, where her funeral service will begin at 11 AM.

Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Joyce’s memory to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
