Joseph R. "Hopey" Wilson

Passed away on May 19, 2018, age 58, of Gloucester City, NJ.

Beloved son of Edith Wilson. Longtime companion to Nora Franks for 30 years.  Loving father of Katrina Wilson.  Proud grandfather of Darren Leanard Byrd, Jr.  Dear brother of Billy Wilson (Darlene), Mike Wilson (Helen) and Patrick Wilson.  Also survived by two nieces.

Joe grew up in South Philadelphia and attended both Sacred Heart and Southern High. He was a talented woodworker and held many construction jobs over the years. Joe followed College Football and was always an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joe’s visitation on Thursday, May 31 ^st from 11:30 – 12:30 pm at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, where his memorial service will follow at 12:30 pm.

Interment will be private.
