John J. Roberts

Age 70, of Westmont, NJ (formerly of Philadelphia) on February 12, 2021.

Beloved husband of Kathleen “Kathie” (nee McCloskey).  Loving father of Richard M. Roberts of Westmont, NJ. Dear brother of Mary Jane Roberts, JoAnn Elmore and the late Gerald Roberts.  Also survived by nieces & nephews.

John proudly worked at the Defense Personnel Support Center in the Medical Directorate for 26 years.  Hired as an intern after college, he rose to become the Chief of its Management Support Office.  After earning his law degree, John chose to remain in the Medical Directorate, in the field he loved.  He was later employed as the Director of Health Care for GS-1 US.  John’s interests included reading and researching historical conflicts, model railroading, repairing old clocks and collecting old mechanical toys.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday, April 9 ^th, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ. Funeral Mass will follow 12 PM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish St. John’s Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
