John "Jack" Franklin Pierce

Jack passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the age of 94, a longtime resident of Haddonfield, NJ. Beloved husband of Louise Pierce (neé Tubb) and the late Anita Pierce (neé Gilman).  Loving father of Denice Augelli (and the late John) of Tyler, TX, Victoria Schindler (Jay) of Dayton, OH, Christine Kehler (David) of Marion, NC, the late Robert Pierce, and father-in-law to his wife Wendy Pierce of Frederick, MD.  Brother-in-law of Phyllis Pierson. Proud grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 4. Also survived by his nephew Steve Pierson & niece Carol Pierson.

Jack’s greatest passions in life were his faith and his family. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Collingswood, where he worshiped and served for over 60 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He graduated from Rutgers University and Drexel University. He spent his career working in the manufacturing and healthcare industries.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, July 20th from 10 – 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Collingswood, 23 Frazer Ave., Collingswood, NJ. His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack’s memory, may be made to the church.
