John P. Houghton

John Patrick Houghton, passed peacefully, with his family by his side on April 21, 2021, at the age of 81.

He was a US Marine Corps Veteran and recipient of the Silver Star during the Vietnam War, avid reader and movie lover. He was an overall trouble maker of the best kind. But most importantly, he was the beloved father to Jess Houghton (Justin Shilliday) and Kate Houghton (Dan Jordan), loving grandfather to Hero Houghton, Haley Shilliday, Mae Jordan, and Frankie Jordan.  He is also survived by his dear nephew Michael Williams (Jill).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
