Joan went home to be with the Lord, on January 19, 2026, at the age of 93, of Westmont, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Horace G. Cooper. Loving mother of Paula Lazzery (Steve) of Westmont, NJ, Eleanor Robertson (Tim) of Arlington, VA and the late Linda Pursglove (the late Jim). Proud grandmother of Wesley Pursglove and Casey Cortes, Justin Lazzery, Christopher Lazzery and Alec Robertson. Great-grandmother of Ryan Pursglove. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a longtime member of Westmont United Methodist Church and volunteered for many years with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed her cats, traveling and spending time with her family. Joan will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, January 29th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, where her funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in Joan's memory may be made to Westmont United Methodist Church, 200 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108.
