Jennifer Talarico of Haddon Township, NJ, died on February 11, 2025 surrounded by her children. She died unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a car accident in the preceding days. Beloved Mother of Robert Talarico (Anna de la Motte) and Giacinta Talarico, most devoted Grandmother of Marlo and Nora, loving sister of Tessandra Talarico (Joanne), Jo-Anne Myers (Kenneth), Judith Briar (George), Jeffrey Talarico, and Jared Talarico (Patricia), fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, and gracious friend to so many, Jennifer left an indelible impact on all those she loved.
A retired social worker, writer, and fiber, metals, and multimedia artist, Jennifer lead a full and vibrant life that inspired so many. She will be remembered for how deeply she loved, how patiently she listened, and how joyously she celebrated her life and the lives of those she loved.
After completing graduate school in Seattle, Jennifer served as a hospice social worker throughout South Jersey before working as a school social worker in the Pennsauken School District until her retirement. She facilitated a Buddhist sangha in South Woods State Prison, volunteered as a meal delivery worker for the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA), hosted countless book clubs and discussion groups for the Sun literary magazine, and had her creative written works and works in fiber, metals, charcoal, and watercolor featured in fairs, shows, and markets. She continued pursuing her passions into her retirement, traveled abroad, and worked part-time at My Fair Trade Lady. Undoubtedly, her most joyous time in retirement was fulfilling her role as Nonna, most adoring Grandmother and support to her children and daughter-in-law.
All friends, family, and loved ones are invited to attend her visitation, service, and celebration of life at Camden County Boathouse on Tuesday, February 18th.
