While born and raised in Moorestown NJ, where she graduated high school in 1956, she spent the majority of her life in her adopted home of Marlboro, NJ.
Jane passed unexpectedly, just days after her birthday. An example of her love of life. While her physical health was a challenge over recent years; her mind was sharp up to her passing.
Jane exemplified a life lived in service. She gave selflessly to her family, friends and community.
A charter member of the Marlboro First Aid and Rescue squad in established in 1971, a police dispatcher in the 1970’s and early 1980’s, and a lifelong Educator.
After graduating from Rutgers - Douglass College, Marlboro Schools took a chance on a young student teacher, and she paid back that chance to Marlboro as an educator for 50 years. She was always trying to bring in the latest technology to education. As a Reading Specialist for the township, she impacted countless lives. She retired from Frank J. Dugan Elementary School and loved her Dugan Dragons.
Jane was known for her heart, her love of reading, and her love for her cats.
While she was predeceased by brother (Tom), sister (Linda), parents (Clarence & Katherine), she is survived by her niece and nephews Bonni Eichmann (Eric) of Collingswood, Dale Bragg of Maple Shade, Tim Bragg (Bea Wiltse) of Pemberton and Melania Caruso, sister of the heart and caregiver, of Englishtown, and countless cousins throughout the country. Jane was the linchpin of family communications.
She will live in the hearts of her family and friends.
Internment to be private with Celebrations of Life to be announced for late summer.
