James "Jay" F. Perez

On March 19 ^th , 2023, James “Jay” F. Perez died at home in Gloucester City, NJ surrounded by loved ones at the age of 64.

Jay is survived by spouse Teresa (nee Gibson); his two children, David Williams (Deanna) & Jessy Perez; and siblings Marie Wilds (Gran) of Maryland, Raymond A. Perez (Joy) of Erial, NJ, Nito Huaca (Sharon) of North Carolina, the late Michael Martinez-Perez, and the late Jonathan Huaca (Amanda) of Gloucester City, NJ. Loving Uncle to 80 nieces and nephews.

Jay was born on December 23 ^rd , 1958, in Camden, NJ.

Jay married Teresa in 1989. He was the neighbor…They welcomed David in 1984 and Jessy in 1992. He loved camping with family and friends. He was a big jokester, always made everyone laugh and feel comfortable around him even though he was 6’8 and scared people. He loved going to lakes, partying, and smoking ganja.

There will be a private memorial for close relatives. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
