James A. Evridge "Pop Pop"

May 30, 1922 — May 25, 2018

Passed away peacefully with his granddaughter & caregiver Roxann Thomas (James) by his side, on May 25, 2018, age 95, of Franklinville, NJ, formerly of Glendora & Camden.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret C. (nee Dowdney). Loving father Glenn L. Evridge, Carolyn D. Evridge (Miguel) and the late James A. Evridge, Jr., John A. Evridge, Kenneth W. Evridge and Diane H. Mills. He is survived by many grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Jim was a WWII US Navy veteran serving from 1941-1952 and was a longtime member of Glendora VFW Post 8714. He loved being outdoors in the sunshine with the warmth covering him and enjoying good music.  Jim would say the secret to a long life is exercise and apple cider vinegar & honey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, May 30 th from 10:30 – 12 pm at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, funeral service will follow at 12 noon.

Interment Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 370 7 th Avenue, New York, NY  10001.
