Harry J. “Butch” Steinhagen

On Friday, June 19, 2026, at the age of 79, of Haddon Township, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, NJ. Beloved husband of 56 years to Nancy J. Steinhagen (nee Lamont). Loving father of Kim Williams (Dan) of Brooklyn, NY, his daughter-in-law Kari-Leigh and the late Chris Steinhagen. Dear brother of Maryann Quinn (Bill) of Collingswood, Connie Steinhagen of Haddonfield, Jeanette Steinhagen of Browns Mills, Terry Grace (Bill) of Cherry Hill and Nan Mullen (Mark) of Haddon Township. Brother-in-law of Tom Lamont (Donna) of Wilmington, NC. Proud grandfather of Jackson Williams. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Harry was a US Army Veteran serving from 1965-1967 with the Military Police in San Francisco. He worked for RCA in Cherry Hill for over 25 years as a Computer Technician.

Harry enjoyed salt water fishing, the Philadelphia Flyers, traveling with his wife Nancy to the National Parks and spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Jackson. You always knew where you stood with Harry, he’d be sure to let you know. Harry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday, June 26th from 9 – 10:30 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish HOLY SAVIOUR CHURCH, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108, where his Eulogy will begin at 10:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Harry’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
