Harriet A. Vidovich

(nee Petitt) Harriet passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Haddon Township, NJ, at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the Louis Vidovich. Loving mother of Arlene Miller of Collingswood, Karen Miller (Christopher) of Buena, and the late Mary Ann Dougherty (late Frank). Dear sister of the late Nancy Petitt. Proud grandmother of Tom, Mike, Mark (Maryann), Jessica (Nate) and Christopher. Great grandmother of Kristina, Danielle, Zachary, Gardner and Hadley.

Harriet grew up in Gloucester City, New Jersey. Graduated from St Mary’s and Gloucester Catholic. She worked at the Courier Post during WWII. At that time she met Edward J Miller who was a Sgt. in the Army, married and had three daughters. After 23 years of marriage they divorced, and she became a single mother, doing the job of both mother and father. She became a Dental Assistant working for Dr. Lempert in Cherry Hill. She was a woman that if she wanted something done, she did it herself. Her creative flair helped in making beautiful dresses and outfits for her three daughters and granddaughter. Harriet’s hobbies were decorating, paper hanging, furniture refinishing, and later in life crocheted beautiful blankets, for family and friends. Harriet started dating Louis in 1975, then married in 1989. They danced regularly doing the jitterbug, two step and the hucklebuck. Harriet had a huge heart, beautiful personality, and incredible sense of humor. One of a kind, irreplaceable, forever loved and cherished. We love you.
