Grace L. Lacey

(neé Lavin) Grace passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Hugh M. Lacey "Hughie". Loving mother of Thomas Lacey (Tracey), Julia Baginski, and John Ward (Donna). Dear sister-in-law of Agnes Schramm and Joseph Lacey, SSJ. Devoted grandmother to Shane, Gina, Michael, Megan, Patrick, Ellie, Candice, Courtney, Gracie, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Originally from Philadelphia, Grace traveled the world with Hughie before retiring in Brigantine, NJ. She was always surrounded by animals, from horses to poodles to strays and rescues. She loved tennis and slot machines and soap operas. Most of all, Grace loved company; her home and heart were always open to friends from across the world. She was the cornerstone of the family, providing the table around which stories and food were shared throughout generations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, Nov. 25th from 10 – 11 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, HOLY SAVIOUR Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Phila., PA.
