Gloria M. Kane "Gigi"

Gigi passed away on March 30, 2021 at age 78, of Oaklyn, NJ.  Beloved sister of Arline J. Hilfiker, and her half-sisters Patricia K. Bahr (Donald G. Bahr), Karen M. Petner (the late Steven J. Petner), and Kristina J. Kane.  Preceded in death by her parents Violet M. Lozowicki and James D Kane.

Loving aunt of Lynda L. Koble, Gerald R. Koble, Jr., Curtis J. Koble and Michael W. Koble.  Great aunt of Deidre L. Koble, Louis Koble, and James Koble.  Also survived by Kathy Preston, daughter of her heart.

She was full of life, very witty and full of fun and good humor.  She had been a hairdresser and salon owner from the age of 17 to 66, always adding humor and laughter to the salon goings-on.

Gig was an avid advocate for all animals and would fight relentlessly for them.  Human trafficking was also high on her list of causes.  And it sure wasn't beneath her to play devil's advocate to keep things going!  She filled our lives with her infectious personality and will be truly missed.

Gigi's Memorial Service will be celebrated May 12, 2021, 11 AM at Harleigh Cemetery in the Chapel of the Oaks, where she will be entombed with her mother. In lieu of flowers contributions in Gigi's memory may be made to Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 421 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
