Beloved and devoted husband of the late Rita Imondi-Acker (nee Rambone). Loving father of Denise Foedinger (Rich), Michael Acker (Alicia), Lisa Acker, Carole Powers (the late Robert), Laura Romano (Michael), Mary Beth Hollenberg (Steve) and Michael Imondi. Dear brother of Mary Ellen Davey (Bob). Proud grandfather of Kevin, Kelly, Ian, Brendan, Marc, Ericka and Michelle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Frank and his late wife were devout members of St. Peter's Catholic Church. His Faith was the great motivator in his life and in recent years he enjoyed visiting the Senior Center with all of his friends at St. Peter's. Frank was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1955 to 1959 and was an avid reader of Naval history. He was a train enthusiast who not only loved to take train rides, but also ran a mini railroad with his father in his basement. Philly sports were a passion, especially the Flyers. Frank loved to cook family meals and was known for baking amazing cakes and pies. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and he especially looked forward to his annual New Hampshire vacations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 2nd 11 AM at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 43 W. Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.
Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ.
