Frances R. Maier

Frances was called home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, surrounded by her loving family of Haddon Township, NJ at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late George A. Maier. Loving mother of Richard (Margaret), Michael, Mary Margaret Bailey (Christopher), Pamela Topham (Karl), the late Thomas, the late George Jr. and daughter in-law Charlotte Kravitz (John). Loving Grams of George III, Laura Daino (Christopher), Nichole Schofield (Terrence), Amanda Rock (Don), Rebecca Bailey, Alex Bailey, and Guinness Maier.  Adoring Great Grams to Sierra, Chase, Avery, Carson, Vivianne, Samantha, Katie, Claire, Louis, and Owen.  Beloved daughter of the late John & Nellie Russo Linsenmeyer and her step-father George Linsenmeyer. She is survived by her sister Georgann Kirtley (James).  She is predeceased by her family James and Virginia Russo Linsenmeyer, Dorothy Nenni (Harry), Rosalie George (Edmund), Michael Russo (Mary Ann), Nancy Aluise (Albert), and James Joseph Russo (Barbara).

Frannie attended Mount St. Joseph College in Ohio and Marshall University in Huntington, WVA where she met the love of her life Albie.  When they moved to Haddon Township, NJ Frannie became an active member of Holy Saviour Church where she met many life long friends.  She was a special education assistant in the Downing School District in Runnemede. However, what Frances enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family.  She will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be private due to Covid 19 restrictions. Fran will be interred in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fran’s name may be made to the HOPE PANTRY, 200 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108.
