(Nee Diener) Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Saturday morning, March 3, 2018 at the age of 94, of Mount Laurel, formerly of Haddon Township, NJ.
Beloved wife of 71 years to Oswald. Loving mother of Lois Drake (Jeffrey) of Mount Laurel, Evelyn Hultz (Joseph) of Cherry Hill, Richard Capone (Barbara) of Voorhees, Robert Capone (Debra) of Cherry Hill, and Thomas Capone (Marianne) of Woodbury. Adoring grandmother of Rachel, Richard, Stefanie, Jennifer, Enrico, Vittorio, Nicholas, Kelly, Michael, Olivia, Thomas, Darren and the late Robert and Monique. Proud great-grandmother of Courtney, Matthew, Jessica, Rebecca, Victoria, Gianna, Bianca, Robert, Vincent, Olivia, Adriana, Samantha, Lily Rose, Greyson, and Great-great granddaughter Peyton.
As a young woman fresh from graduating from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School in Philadelphia in 1942, Evelyn worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard in the receiving dept. She met and married the love of her life, Oswald, in Wildwood while he was stationed at Naval Air Station Wildwood during WW11. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great granddaughter and will be sadly missed. She was an independent, strong spirited woman, with a kind and generous heart. She also adored her many grand pets Sunny, Windy, Coconut, ZuZu, and Bowie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, March 8

from 11 to 12 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, where her funeral service will follow at 12 PM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Evelyn’s memory may made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
