Elizabeth Ann Ott "Betty Ann"

On March 22, 2021 Betty Ann peacefully passed into the arms of God, while in the company of family members.

Beloved wife of the late Charles Ott.  Betty Ann is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Fabiano and her husband Louis, Debra Lynn Bello and her husband Pasquale. She is also survived by her sons Charles Jr. and his fiancée Rachel Guthrie, David and his wife Cheryl, and Matthew and his wife Rebecca. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, all of whom she enjoyed and cherished her time with.

Born on May 1, 1928 to Elizabeth Green Owens and Sylvan Elmer Watson. Betty Ann grew up in Audubon with her sister Dorothy and brothers, the late William, John, and Richard. Betty Ann attended and graduated Audubon High school in 1947. Betty Ann and Charles Sr. married on September 15, 1951, eventually settling in Westmont, New Jersey raising their children. She moved through life in a quiet and unassuming manner, supporting her children throughout their life’s adventure, while becoming involved in community organizations. Betty Ann maintained an open and welcoming heart to all of her family member’s spouses and friends.

Betty Ann was an active member in the Ashland Evangelical Church, as well as the Girl Scout Leader of the Brownies, the Haddon Township Parent Teacher Association, helping to organize the concession stand at the HTHS football games in order to raise scholarship money for the HTHS scholarships. She became involved with Young at Hearts and the Collingswood chapter of American Association of Retired Persons later in life.

Betty Ann loved vacationing with her family at various locations on the Jersey shore, as well as Florida and Maine. She cherished attending her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities whether they were color guard competitions, little league games, or wrestling matches. Betty Ann was also an active 10 pin bowler throughout her life.

Funeral services will be private Friday, March 26 th and Betty Ann will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Charles in the Harleigh Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions in Betty Ann’s memory be made to the Haddon Township High School Scholarship fund for students pursuing a field in education. Please contact Haddon Township High School for information regarding a donation.
