Dorothy A. Beers

Dotty went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the age of 103, of Audubon, NJ.

Beloved wife of 73 years to the late Roy A. Beers, Jr.  Loving mother of Roy A. Beers, III (Lana) of N. Richland, TX, Patricia H., Goff (Everett) of Surfside Beach, SC, Dorothy B. Wood (Roy) of Haddon Heights, NJ and Robert E. Beers of Audubon, NJ. Dear sister of the late Albert E. Anderson.  Proud grandmother of Roy A. Beers, IV, Cheryl Beers, Thomas Ennis, Susan Mammoccio, Casey Ennis, Amanda Evans, Courtney Brettell, Meredith Kilduff, Austin Beers and Sunny Zippilli. Adoring great-grandmother of 12.

Dotty became a Registered Nurse in the 1940’s. Her love was being a homemaker, as her husband wished.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening and in her later years being quite the jigsaw puzzle expert.  Dotty was a longtime member of Logan Memorial Presbyterian Church in Audubon, NJ, where she was involved with the Women’s Association.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation Saturday, May 18th, from 10 – 11 AM at LOGAN MEMORIAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 18 W. Merchant St., Audubon, NJ, where her Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Dotty’s memory may be made to the Logan Memorial Presbyterian Church, 18 W. Merchant St., Audubon, NJ 08106.
