On May 31, 2019, Don passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends, of Haddon Township, at the age of 75.
He was survived by his two children Scott Rose and wife Hope of Boynton Beach, FL and Brad Rose of Haddon Twp. NJ. Also by his brother Dale Rose and wife Betty of Bristol TN. Don will be reunited with his father, Elisha Dale Rose, mother, Joanna Bystrek and sister, Darlene Lesher. Don was born the youngest of three and was one of the first graduating classes of Haddon Township High School. Don went on to attend Rutgers University and graduated with a Degree in Business. He then served his country in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Beatty during the Vietnam War. After his service he returned home, married in 1970 and had two children, while working at Arco Oil Company. Don enjoyed watching his boys play baseball, football, tennis and wrestling. He also enjoyed fishing with his boys and watching them grow up. For the last 25 years he continued his work for the US Government with the Department of HUD. He had two dogs named Max and Chase that he loved like his own children. Don loved doing Happy Hour with his friends and family and enjoyed talking about and listening to local sports talk. His quick wit and sense of humor will always be remembered.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, June 6 th , from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ.
The family will share memories beginning at 4 PM.
Interment will be private.
