Dolores S. Kuenzel

(nee Sutcliffe) Dolores passed peacefully at Samaritan Hospice on July 23, 2020, at the age of 80, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Born June 27, 1940, Dolores grew up in Parkside, Chester County, PA and graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Wilmington, DE. She spent over 40 years as an RN with a certification in gerontology and a focus on compassionate care for the elderly.  Dodie was a classical pianist who volunteered her time teaching piano to children.  She loved the arts - especially literature and theatre.  An avid lover of books and reading, she had an insatiable appetite for learning.  Dodie enjoyed traveling with friends and had visited 29 countries.  Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved parents Mildred C. and David J. Sutcliffe, her sister Kaye Smith (Peter), and spouses John J. Moran and Irvin A. Kuenzel.  She was a loving mother to Arleen Parker (Larry), John Moran (Carolina), Pam Thoma (Michael), Elizabeth Brennan (John) and Jon Bodilly (Venessa).  She is also survived by her brother David A. Sutcliffe (Donna) and 9 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021, 12 noon at HADDONFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Memorial Garden, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ, family visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.
